How to create a leaderboard to create a sense of healthy competition and bring more fun into the workplace.
LEADERBOARDS, EXPLAINED
What’s a leaderboard?
A leaderboard is a board with the names (of teams or individuals) and their current scores for a measure/activity, e.g. number of steps walked per day.
OBJECTIVES
Why is a leaderboard a good idea for our workplace?
They are fun and easy ways to embed wellbeing into the workday
They are a great way to showcase and celebrate ‘top performers’ in activities beyond their roles
They support connection and a sense of camaraderie (especially if used at the team level)
They tap into our competitive natures to elevate the conversation around wellbeing
