Wellbeing Challenges

Support mental health in your workplace with one (or more!) of these wellbeing challenges.

1. Set up a spring steps challenge

A workplace steps challenge is a fun way to incentivise people to move more. Start by agreeing on a daily steps goal, invite people to participate by tracking their steps through a shared platform (such as Count.it), and let the healthy competition begin!

2. Share the Worry Map with your team

The Worry Map in the Groov app is a great tool for people to work through some of their anxieties and find more ‘chill’ in their day by creating a plan around what they can and cannot control. If you haven’t shared the Worry Map yet, or it’s been awhile since you promoted it in your workplace, aim to do so this month.

3. Host a social event

Whether it’s enjoying a shared meal or doing something a little more adventurous, social events are a great way to weave the Enjoy Pillar into your workplace. They give everyone something fun to look forward to and provide a chance for people to connect and have fun.

4. Finish each week with appreciation

Do a quick team meeting at the end of each week to appreciate someone or something positive in your life. Give everyone the opportunity to share at least one thing they appreciate in the past work week, big or small. Appreciating the good things in life can help people feel happier and more resilient. It’s a great way to end the week on a positive note, too.

5. Host a ‘lunch and learn’ event

A ‘lunch and learn’ event is a great way for people to learn new things and top up their Do Pillar. Host an event that inspires people to take care of their mental health this month. This could look like inviting in a guest speaker, inviting your leadership team or a colleague to speak, or streaming one of the Groov modules or previous webinars.
