Wellbeing Challenges
Reap the benefits of more laughter in your workplace with one (or more!) of these wellbeing challenges.
1. Learn a simple dance move together
Enjoy a few laughs while learning a simple, 2-minute dance move together as a team. You could do this as part of an existing meeting (what a way to break the ice!) or before going on a scheduled break. Here’s a simple YouTube tutorial to inspire you – we dare you to give the ‘Tootsie Roll’ a go without at least cracking a smile!

2. Give your team a dedicated laughter break
Laughter is a great way to relax. Give your people a bonus break in their day, with one stipulation: they should use it to watch a funny video online. Feel free to share anything you think would be relevant to your people, as this can also enhance team connection. If adding in breaks is not possible, consider how a funny video could be played to a group at the start of an existing meeting, or could be shared on internal communications channels.

3. Give people permission to laugh
Give people permission to laugh with our downloadable laughter permission slips. These are designed for people to fill out and give to their coworkers. A great way to normalise joy in the workplace and remind people it’s OK to laugh.
We highly recommend you starting the process – nominate a few colleagues to print, complete and share with their teammates!
4. Encourage people to reflect on their sense of humour
Encourage people to reflect on what they find funny and to celebrate their own unique sense of humour. A couple of ways you can do this include:
Asking Leaders to commence weekly meetings by sharing what was the most recent thing that made them laugh.
Posting on an internal communications platform asking people to share their favourite comedians and shows.

6. Put up our ‘Share a joke’ poster in your workplace
Give people the chance to enjoy a few light-hearted laughs by downloading our Share a joke poster and putting it up in your workplace.
