11 Essential company rituals
These company rituals are essential for all workplaces. As you know, company rituals are one key way to embed wellbeing within your workplace. We recommend working your way through these eleven suggestions, and announcing any that are not yet in place. These can, and should, be tweaked to fit your workplace.

Every quarter, each member of the Executive Team gives a company-wide update

Every new starter completes the LEAD, SHOW and CARE modules

On days of cultural/other celebrations relevant to us here at [workplace], our [CEO/other] shares what it means to them on [internal platform]

When someone is promoted to a new role (or team), their manager adds their name to a 'Shout Out' board or announces on an internal channel

As part of Onboarding, every new starter is assigned a ‘buddy’ for at least the first week

At each significant work anniversary (5 year intervals), permanent employees are given a certificate signed by an Executive Team member

Every 6 months, we have an ‘Ask Me Anything’ with the Leadership Team

Every quarter, we have a company-wide ‘All Hands’ with rotating teams sharing their projects/progress

At the end of the year, we have company-wide social event (such as a shared lunch)

Annually, all permanent employees are offered a workstation assessment
